What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to make us delete it. Short, because there isn't much.

IWho we are

SYAHI TECHNOLOGIES LLP (LLPIN ADB-1993), Bengaluru, India. We run syahi.sh and its subdomains, the Signet product, Studio Services and Katha Audio. This policy covers all of them.

The law we work under is India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For anything in this policy, write to hello@syahi.sh. The person who answers is Surabhi Pradhan, designated partner.

IIThis websiteWe read the code before writing this.

syahi.sh sets no cookies. It runs no analytics. It has no contact form, so the site itself collects nothing you type. The moving ink is drawn inside your browser and sends nothing anywhere.

Two things do leave your browser when the page loads:

  • Fonts. The typefaces come from Google Fonts. Google's servers receive that request, which carries your IP address and browser details. Google's privacy policy covers what they do with it.
  • Hosting. The site is served by GitHub Pages. GitHub keeps ordinary server logs: IP address, page requested, time. We don't see visitor-level logs.

Links to WhatsApp, Cal.com, X, GitHub and YouTube take you to those services. Their policies apply once you're there.

IIIWhen you write to us

Email. Your address, your name, and what you write.

WhatsApp. Your number, your name as WhatsApp shows it, and your messages. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and Meta's terms apply to the channel itself.

Booking a call. Cal.com collects your name, email and chosen time under its own policy, then sends us the booking.

Why. To reply. If you become a customer, to run the engagement and invoice you. Nothing else. We don't add you to a mailing list because you asked a question.

How long. While the conversation or engagement is live. Invoices, and the correspondence that supports them, stay as long as Indian tax and company law require. Everything else goes when you ask, or a year after the thread closes.

IVPayments

Payments run through Razorpay. You pay on Razorpay's checkout, payment link or invoice. Your card number, UPI PIN and bank login go to Razorpay, never to us. We never see or store them.

What Razorpay sends back to us: your name, email, phone, the amount, any GST details you gave, and a transaction reference. We keep these with the invoice for as long as Indian tax law requires. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs what they do on their side.

VSignet

Your account. An email address, and a phone number if you turn on push notifications.

Your ledger. Every draft your agents propose, your yes or no, when you decided, and the context around it. This is the product, and it is yours.

We store the ledger to run Signet, and for nothing else. We don't read it unless you've reported a problem and asked us to look. We don't use it to train models. We don't sell it or share it. You can export it any time.

Deleting. Close the account from the dashboard or by email. Account and ledger are removed within 30 days. Invoices stay for the tax record.

Push. If you turn on notifications, the notification text passes through your device's push service to reach your phone. Turn it off and it stops.

VIStudio Services and Katha Audio

A build or a retainer may need access to your business data: rate cards, enquiries, the accounts your system reads. What we access is named in the written scope before the build starts. We touch what the scope names and nothing else.

Your data stays yours. When the engagement ends we return or delete our working copies, except what the invoice trail needs. Builds may run on third-party AI models; which ones is agreed with you in writing.

Katha Audio works from manuscripts a publisher gives us. The manuscript stays the publisher's. We keep it only for the length of the production agreement.

VIIYour rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw a consent you gave. Email hello@syahi.sh from the address we know you by. We'll confirm within seven working days and tell you what we did.

Grievances go to the same address, marked for Surabhi Pradhan. Nothing here is aimed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

VIIIChanges

The date at the top is the date this policy last changed. If a change affects paying customers, we'll email them before it takes effect.
